Mornington Lockett:
Legendary Jazz Master
Mornington Lockett rose to prominence through his work with legendary Ronnie Scott’s Quintet, touring the world extensively with Ronnie as official cultural ambassadors for the U.K. while performing in the club’s house band.
Mornington enjoyed a long spell as first tenor sax in the Stan Tracey orchestra, which performed notably at the Proms and St. Paul’s Cathedral for the BBC. Through the Ronnie Scott connection, Mornington played with a number of international names, acquiring Blues credentials as a member of Jimmy Smith’s quartet and Latin experience with Arturo Sandoval’s Afro-Cuban band.
Mornington has had a varied and interesting solo performing and recording career, which has included a session for Oasis, a British Jazz Award, and recent personal appearances at Downing Street and Westminster Abbey.
Mornington has his own signature mouthpiece, which is available from SYOS and he is also endorsed by Trevor James Signature Custom saxophones.
Duncan Eagles: World Class Jazz Saxophonist & Composer
Duncan Eagles is a world‑renowned London‑based saxophonist and composer celebrated for his expressive tone, fearless improvisation, and compositional sophistication.
A Trinity Laban graduate, he leads acclaimed projects including his Ropeadope Records releases and the groundbreaking trio Partikel, whose work has been met with distinguished critical praise and major festival appearances. Eagles has performed at elite jazz stages and festivals across the globe — from Ronnie Scott’s and the EFG London Jazz Festival to Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Rochester Jazz Festival and beyond — and has collaborated with leading artists such as Zara McFarlane, Shabaka Hutchings and Gary Husband.
His music, praised for its “distinctive sound and virtuosic improvising,” marks him as a defining voice in contemporary jazz on the world stage.
Samuel Eagles: Internationally Acclaimed Jazz Saxophonist & Composer
Samuel Eagles is an internationally recognised saxophonist and composer of exceptional distinction, known for a refined sound, compositional depth, and a singular contemporary voice.
Trained at the Royal Academy of Music’s Junior Jazz programme and Trinity College of Music, and mentored by Grammy-winning saxophonist Jean Toussaint, he has built a critically acclaimed catalogue including Next Beginning and the Whirlwind Recordings release SPIRIT. Eagles has appeared at the world’s leading jazz venues and festivals, including Ronnie Scott’s, Southbank Centre, Kings Place, and the EFG London Jazz Festival, alongside major European festivals.
Praised by The Guardian for his “deftly swerving post-bop inventiveness,” he is regarded as a defining voice of modern jazz on the international stage.
