The Major Thirds – UK's Most Experienced Musicians

Upbeat and lively or smooth and mellow, whatever suits your occasion best!Accomplished jazz from some of the UK’s most experienced musicians.

Between them they have performed on TV and radio shows including Later with Jools Holland (several times!), and on many of the most significant stages in Britain and internationally, including the Barbican, the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Cologne Philharmonic and many others. Artists they have collaborated with include Gregory Porter, Jamie Cullum, Jools Holland and Yasmin Levy.

Together they draw on their exceptional wealth of talent and experience to create the perfect atmosphere for drinks receptions, corporate functions, weddings, formal dinners and garden parties. They have over fifteen years’ experience bringing their consummate musicianship to countless events, at venues such as Kensington Palace, the Shard, Claridges, the Ritz and the Inns of Law.

The standard line up is a trio of saxophone, guitar and double bass. Drums or piano can be added on request.

 

Standard performance duration is 2 x 45 mins. Other timings available upon negotiation.
