​Somethin' Else – Award Winning Musicians

Meet Somethin' Else, Robin (saxophone) & Jack (guitar), two highly experienced and award-winning musicians. They regularly perform at weddings and corporate functions across the UK and internationally.

Previous bookings include events held in St James’s Palace (with HRH Princess Beatrice in attendance) and the Palace of Westminster, as well as for clients such as British Airways, Barclays Bank and the Hilton Hotel.

They have also performed in original music projects at some of the UK’s top jazz venues including Ronnie Scott’s, the 606 Jazz Club, Pizza Express Soho and The Vortex. Robin and Jack met whilst studying at Leeds Conservatoire in 2010, and both graduated from the BA Jazz Programme with First Class Honours. Robin went onto study on the prestigious postgraduate Jazz programme at the Royal Academy of Music where he graduated with distinction, whilst Jack has fast been earning a reputation as one of London’s most versatile guitarists.

The duo’s repertoire includes a myriad of jazz standards from the Great American Songbook, as well as bossa novas, funk/groove-based tunes, and some more contemporary pop songs. They can tailor their set and learn song requests to give a personal touch to your occasion.

Somethin’ Else is able to expand into a larger line-up of musicians, suitable for bigger events in larger spaces.
